FAQs

Answers about what I do, how I work, training, and templates.

Getting Started

What do I need to get started?

Send me a short brief about your business and what you need. I’ll get back to you to talk it through and send an estimated quote.

Do you work with small businesses and start-ups?

Yes. Most of my clients are start-ups, small businesses, studios and agencies. I’ve also worked with in-house creative teams in large organisations.

Do you work with clients outside Australia?

Yes. I work with local and international clients. International clients purchase their service order through Gumroad or Etsy.

I’m not sure what I need. Can you help me work it out?

Yes. Tell me what you’re trying to achieve and I’ll recommend where to start. Some clients only need a website, others need a full brand first.

Cost and Payment

How much does it cost?

Websites start from $2,500, brand identity from $8,000 and visual asset packages from $1,200, all excluding GST. DIY templates start from $60. The final price depends on the size of the project, and I’ll provide a quote before any work begins.

How does payment work?

For Australian clients, a 20% deposit starts the project and the remaining balance is paid at the end, before launch and handover. International clients pay through Gumroad or Etsy.

Process and Timeline

How long will my project take?

Websites usually take 2 to 6 weeks, brand identity 2 to 8 weeks and visual asset packages 1 to 2 weeks. Timelines depend on how quickly we can exchange feedback and content.

How many revisions are included?

Usually one or two rounds of changes within the project scope. Larger changes or additions may cost extra, and I’ll tell you before going ahead.

What do you need from me during the project?

Your brief, any existing branding, and your text and images. If you don’t have content ready, I can point you in the right direction.

Websites

Will my website work on mobile?

Yes. Every site I build is mobile responsive and tested across common screen sizes.

What’s the difference between a custom website and a template?

A custom website is designed around your brand and goals from scratch. A template is a ready-made design you customise yourself. It costs less and launches faster, but it’s less tailored to your business.

Design and Branding

What’s included in a brand identity?

Logo design or refinement, a colour and typography system, brand guidelines and social media templates. It gives you a consistent look across your website, social media and print.

Can you update my existing logo or brand?

Yes. If you already have a logo, I can refine it and build a full identity around it.

Do you design print material?

My work is mainly digital these days, but I still take on print projects like flyers, posters and press ads.

AI and Technology

Do you use AI in your work?

Yes, in the build stage. I use AI-assisted development to build websites and custom apps faster, and to automate repetitive tasks. Design direction and decisions are always mine.

Can you build a custom app or automate a task in my business?

Yes. If you have a repetitive task that wastes time, I can look at building a tool to handle it. Get in touch with a short description and I’ll let you know what’s possible.
